My Story
I am a retired Police Chief from Boulder, Colorado. After 36 years of dedicating myself to policing, I retired to pursue other interests. One of those interests is writing. I'm now using my law enforcement experience and knowledge of investigative techniques to create fictional crime thrillers. I continue to live in Colorado, and spend time in Arizona during our winter months. When not writing, I enjoy the outdoors, playing pickleball and softball, travel, and spend time with my family. My writing has become a bit of a family affair, as my wife helps in critiquing and editing my works.
Since publishing my first book, Behind the Lies, I've now written a total of nine crime thrillers. My most recent two books are full length novels. The first novel, Silent Waters, takes place in Boulder, Colorado, the town I policed for 36 years. My fifth book takes place in my winter community, Surprise, Arizona.

The three crime stories were fictional in nature but the detective work performed using today’s technology was simply amazing. Also, don’t always assume the obvious. Get it right because your decision making affects the lives of many going forward. You could tell the Author had decades of experience working within our criminal justice system.
